A tool for getting to know your community: Asset Mapping

A new article was published today in Partnership through the Ontario Library Association, which looks at one tool which librarians can use to learn about the needs and strengths of potential or existing library users, when developing program and service responses.  The same concept and approach can be applied to all types of communities of interest (geographical, socio-economic, ethnic groups, academics etc.)
